Bastard of the Skies kick off the first of four UK dates this month in support of their latest split release with Grimpen Mire, starting in Manchester tomorrow night 5th (with Coltsblood & Spacewitch)  followed by London 6th (with Grimpen Mire, Sea Bastard & Torpor) , then on to Newcastle-under-Lyme 7th (with Rise to Thunder & Bleak Zero), the final date is on Saturday 21st with Iron Void in Wakefield.

Well it’s been a while since Future Noise hosted a gig, but when Lee from The Sleeping Shaman called out for help with a last minute Manchester gig for WITCH MOUNTAIN & TOMBSTONES, we couldn’t say no!

The date is Friday 13th June at The Star & Garter, Manchester, we know this is short notice, but hope people can make it down.

Damage is just £5, doors open at 7.30pm, support will be announced very soon and a Facebook Event has been set up HERE.

To coincide with the Euro tour, Svart Records is also issuing a limited vinyl version of the band’s earlier album South Of Salem. This edition of the classic album is expanded to a double-LP with a second disc consisting of rare tracks, unreleased cover songs, and demos.

The tour also comes shortly before the release of WITCH MOUNTAIN‘s highly anticipated fourth album, Mobile Of Angels which was produced in May 2014 at Type Foundry studios in Portland, Oregon by master “Engine-Ear” Billy Anderson and will feature the artwork of Mark McCormick. With Mobile Of Angels, WITCH MOUNTAIN stretches out into new musical frontiers, while still remaining firmly in the tradition of classic heavy doomed rock ‘n’ roll. The album will be released in September 2014 in Europe by Svart Records, and in North America by Profound Lore.

Meanwhile TOMBSTONES’ highly acclaimed album Red Skies And Dead Eyes was released in October by Soulseller Records, and has featured in many end-of -year lists and has received rave reviews from web- and fanzines throughout the world, including the likes of Terrorizer, Visions Magazine and Metal Hammer. In 2013 the band blew minds with three bludgeoning sets at Desertfest in London, found themselves supporting bands such as Clutch and Ufomammut, and are now ready to once again bring their crushing live act across Europe. TOMBSTONES can be described as the bastard child conceived by a filthy threesome with Sleep, Melvins and Bongripper.

Formed in September 2012 in Stoke-on-Trent, UK, with a line up containing none other than Jim Palmer (Charger, Murder One, Spacewitch) on guitar, Hippi (Charger, DC9, The Slashers, Rebounds, AllOneWord) on drums/vocals and Pat Bonner (B*stards trained by B*stards) on bass/vocals.

HARLOT CHURCH, described as dirty rock and roll with a dazed punk twist, are already working on tracks for a future release, and with only a handful of live appearances to date, including a debut show supporting the mighty High on Fire, and a second appearance supporting Hang the Bastard. HARLOT CHURCH will be playing at Bunker 13 in Stoke-on-Trent on 30^th December, organised by Functional Onion. Support acts include Mother Trucker, Constant Waves and Moitessier.
